Job summary

Diageo is seeking a People Operations Manager for its Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland. This full-time, permanent role focuses on workforce planning, leadership coaching and operational excellence to ensure teams are right‑sized and well supported.

You will partner with HR, Learning & Development and operational stakeholders to deliver consistent processes, drive performance, and create an exceptional employee experience across our visitor-facing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in People Operations, workforce planning or workforce management within a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching and developing managers and teams.
• Experience managing recruitment, agency partnerships and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience managing labour budgets, reporting and operational performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience within hospitality, tourism, visitor attractions or events would be advantageous, as would experience using Workday or workforce rostering platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning, rostering and labour optimisation to support operational and seasonal demand.
• Coach and develop frontline leaders, building capability in people management, performance, wellbeing and employee relations.
• Oversee recruitment coordination, agency partnerships and workforce planning to ensure an engaged and high‑performing team.
• Monitor labour budgets, workforce data and operational reporting to drive informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Partner with HR, Learning & Development and operational stakeholders to deliver consistent people processes and strengthen leadership capability.
• Drive continuous improvement across people operations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency and an exceptional employee experience.
