Job summary

Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys) is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician for an onsite backfill/part-time role in Clonmel, Ireland.

The ideal candidate provides hands-on IT infrastructure support, troubleshoots desktops, printers and peripherals, and maintains hardware/software functionality with minimal downtime. You will handle deskside support, basic LAN/WAN concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP, work with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Remedy), and communicate clearly with clients and

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of strong experience providing IT infrastructure field support.
Experience installing, troubleshooting and fixing desktops, printers, laptops and peripherals.
Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts; ability to perform smart hand activities at sites.
Experience with TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy).

Responsibilities

Provide deskside IT hardware/software troubleshooting and repair.
Install and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Handle basic LAN/WAN tasks and network issue resolution.
Maintain and document incidents in the ticketing system with clear communication.
