Job summary

Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys) is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to join as a Weekend Backfill Engineer. This part-time, onsite role in Clonmel requires weekend coverage when the primary engineer is unavailable, with flexible weekend support as needed.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, and resolve basic network issues. Strong communication and independent work capability are essential for this on-demand position.

We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to join our support team as a Weekend Backfill Engineer.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity suitable for an IT professional who is available to provide onsite support when weekend coverage is required.

ROLE DETAILS

• Work Arrangement: Onsite
• Employment Type: Part-Time / On-Demand
• Onsite Rate: €19 per hour

ABOUT THE POSITION

The successful candidate will provide onsite IT support during weekends when the primary engineer is unavailable or additional coverage is required.

This is not a fixed weekly position. Support requests will be raised based on business requirements, so the engineer should be comfortable working on an as-needed basis and responding to weekend support requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide onsite technical support to users.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Availability for weekend assignments based on business requirements.
• Ability to travel to the client site in Clonmel, Tipperary.
