Job summary

Primark Newbridge Depot is seeking an IT Support Colleague to provide on-site technical assistance across the depot, helping to maintain critical infrastructure, networks and hardware.

You will handle first-line IT support, assist with network issues, troubleshoot devices, manage tickets, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring secure access to WMS systems. This is a full-time, site-based role with weekend coverage as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• Provide first-line IT support and escalate where required.
• Resolve networking incidents with basic connectivity checks and reporting.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with initial fault diagnosis and clear escalation details.
• Manage and track support tickets with accurate records and timely updates.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers and service providers to resolve issues.
• Administer user access within WMS systems including account creation/modification/removal.
• Perform basic repairs on depot IT equipment including kiosks and end-user devices.
• Conduct routine inspections of servers and network equipment and check cabling/hardware status.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for IT-related issues to support depot operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support, responding promptly to technical issues and escalating where required.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, carrying out initial fault diagnosis and documenting clear escalation details.

• Liaise with third-party suppliers and service providers to coordinate issue resolution.
• Administer user access within WMS systems, including account creation, modification, and removal in line with security policies.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on depot IT equipment, including kiosks and other end-user devices.
• Conduct routine physical inspections of servers and network equipment, checking cabling, hardware status, and environmental conditions.
• Support the smooth operation of depot technology infrastructure by acting as the on-site point of contact for IT-related issues.
