Job summary

MCS Group in Dublin are recruiting an IT Support Engineer for a hands-on, site-based role across Irish sites, covering user support, wireless and network infrastructure, CCTV and access control.

The position is fully on-site in Dublin, five days per week, with travel to other sites; you should be comfortable in challenging conditions and at height.

You'll join a practical operations team, receive training, and contribute to ongoing IT projects as part of a busy transport and logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems.
• Experience maintaining or installing wireless networking infrastructure.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support across Irish sites.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot wireless and network infrastructure.
• Support PCs, peripherals and business software.
• Install, configure and maintain CCTV and access control systems.
• Respond to requests via helpdesk, inboxes and call queue.
• Administer bespoke IT systems, with training as needed.
• Assist IT procurement, stock management and supplier relationships.
• Contribute to IT projects with the wider IT team.
• Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Work at height and follow health and safety procedures.
