Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited in North Dublin is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide end-user IT support across offices, ports and vessels. You will work at height, use power tools, and join an on-call rota for out-of-hours coverage.

The role involves installing and configuring CCTV and Access Control Systems, ensuring smooth IT services, and supporting hardware/software deployment at multiple locations. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• IPAF 3a/3b certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years IT support experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support across offices, ports and vessels at multiple sites.
• Share the provision of out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rota.
• Assist in installation and configuration of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Maintain daily operations and ensure uninterrupted IT services.
• Support installation, configuration and usability of system hardware/software.
• Track and document IT requests using the ticket system.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in person, remotely or by phone.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT infrastructure.
• Maintain and manage the helpdesk system with accurate ticketing.
• Provide network/server support onsite and remotely; assist with training.
