Job summary

The Address Collective in Cork is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor for Front of House to ensure guests are assisted during night hours and to complete essential security checks. The role includes handovers from porters, reception, and the duty manager, plus night-time room service and bar coverage.

Responsibilities cover docket checks, security/logbook entries, luggage handling, and coordinating breakfast and lounge services while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

• Punctual start in uniform and professional appearance.
• Carry out security and fire checks at scheduled times and log results.
• Check-in/out guests efficiently and assist with luggage.
• Respond to guest enquiries promptly.
• Carry out Lounge/Room Service orders after 11 pm and maintain kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive a full handover from Daily Porters, Receptionists on duty, or Manager on duty.
• Complete docket checks and inform the early Duty Manager of discrepancies.
• Carry out security/fire checks at regular intervals (e.g. 12 am, 2 am, 4 am, 6 am) and log irregularities.
• Efficiently check-in/out guests and ensure luggage is handled quickly.
• Deal with guest enquiries/needs quickly and effectively.
• Carry out any Lounge/Room Service orders after 11 pm and keep kitchen/food prep areas clean.
• Collect Breakfast cards while performing floor checks and prepare/deliver Room Service.
• Ensure early breakfasts are delivered on time and to standard.
• Cover Bar Service after bar staff leave and follow cash/stock procedures.
• Carry out night cleaning per schedule and maintain public areas and lounges.
• Set up meeting rooms if required and ensure equipment is ready.
• Check fax machine regularly and forward messages promptly.
• Complete full night shift diary and handover issues to Duty Manager/Reception/Day Porter.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
