Job summary

Tech People 247 is seeking a Data Center Engineer for onsite dispatch support in Cork, Ireland. The role requires 5–7 years in enterprise IT infrastructure and close collaboration with technical/operations teams.

You will manage tickets, coordinate stakeholder attendance, and provide in-person or remote issue resolution. Responsibilities include rack and stack, cabling, network/storage support, and ensuring SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Data Center experience.
• 3+ years collaborating with technical and operations teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, technology or science.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and ITIL environment.
• Experience with ticket management systems and incident handling.
• Strong communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Update and record activities in the IT Ticket Management System.
• Coordinate attendance time and date with key stakeholders.
• Communicate relevant project information to the team clearly.
• Ticket SLAs and KPIs are achieved; implement policies, procedures and materials to assure compliance.
• Carry all necessary tools and laptops to support onsite issues.
• Provide support via phone, remote tools, or onsite at dispatch.
• Perform installations as needed (physical or network medium).
• Support Network and Server teams by assisting with rack and stack and running cables.

• Work independently and with the team; customer-facing with Client.
• Manage and monitor server infrastructure; familiar with backups and recovery.

Job Responsibilities:
