Job summary

Cavendish Maine is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead the Ireland business (ROI and NI). The role will drive growth in the specification channel, overseeing a four-person sales team and working with Architects, Designers, Contractors and Distributors across the island of Ireland.

Based in Ireland, you will travel to the UK for internal meetings every other month and report into the UK & Ireland Head of Sales, shaping end-to-end customer engagement and budget delivery while leveraging

About the Role:

This role is critical to the sustainable growth and ultimate success of the business within the next decade and key points are:

• We are looking for an experienced individual to support in a national role for the company’s Ireland business.
• This role has 4 direct reports, and you will be responsible for managing the team on a daily basis.
• The route to market is primarily via the specification sector with a strong emphasis dealing with Architects and Designers as well as main and sub-contractors and distributors.
• A key aspect of the opportunity will be developing and training the team to focus on project generation and delivery, utilising the internal systems.
• Day-to-day the successful individual would be expected to support and manage the sales team, take the lead with the larger customers, ensuring end-to-end engagement, help the team achieve budget and be the face and voice of the company in Ireland.
• There would be a small requirement to travel to the UK for internal sales meetings (typically every other month), and support in any internal projects.
• This role would form part of the UK and Ireland sales management team, reporting directly into the Head of Sales UK and Ireland.

About the Individual:

• We are ideally looking for a sales professional who has experience managing a team and has experience working within the Commercial Interiors, Floorcoverings Ceramic Tiles, KBB, Furniture or Lighting sectors.
• The successful individual will have experience dealing with Architects, Designers, Contractors and End Users.
• Candidates that have a wealth of specification sales experience within the Commercial Interiors sector and are looking to move into a people management role are encouraged to apply.
