Job summary

Killashee Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, is seeking a Morning Prep Chef to join our team. You will lead the daily morning preparation, handle fresh ingredients, and ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily morning preparation for the hotel kitchen.
• Prepare fresh ingredients, salads, sandwich fillings, sauces and other food items.
• Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches and food-to-go products.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared to a consistently high standard.
• Ensure preparation is completed on time and ready for daily service.
• Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and personal presentation.
• Follow HACCP, food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Correctly label, date and store all prepared food.
• Ensure stock is rotated and report any shortages or wastage.
• Maintain clean, tidy and organised preparation areas.
• Clean and correctly store kitchen equipment after use.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as required by the Head Chef.
