Job summary

Killashee Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, seeks a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day service across all outlets and maintain guest satisfaction.

You will lead shifts, mentor staff, and ensure HACCP standards are followed while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role requires supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality F&B operations (supervisor level or above).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP).
• Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant, bar, and banquet service during shifts.
• Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel expectations.
• Handle opening/closing procedures and shift handovers.
• Handle complaints or special requests quickly and professionally.
• Monitor service quality and step in during busy periods.
• Lead, motivate, and support F&B team members.
• Assign duties and manage staff scheduling during shifts.
• Assist with training new employees and ongoing coaching.

The Food & Beverage Duty Manager ensures smooth day-to-day service across all outlets, maintains high guest satisfaction, and supports staff performance.

Main Duties:

• Supervise restaurant, bar, and banquet service during shifts
• Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel expectations
• Handle opening/closing procedures and shift handovers
• Handle complaints or special requests quickly and professionally
