Job summary

ICE Group's client, a Galway-based Credit Union, seeks a Member Services Officer (Temporary Full Time) to deliver excellent member service and support daily operations. You will handle lodgements, withdrawals, loan repayments, and account inquiries, maintain accurate member records, perform cash reconciliations, and ensure compliance with data protection and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Front-line experience in a credit union, bank, or customer service.
• Willingness to pursue professional qualification (QFA/APA/CUA/Pathways).
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line member services including lodgements, withdrawals, loan repayments and enquiries.
• Accurately handle cash and reconcile cash balances daily.
• Assist members with information on products and services offered.
• Support members through the loan application process and collect documentation.
• Maintain member records and perform scanning, filing and general admin duties.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and data protection.
