Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our luxury team in Ireland. You will handle enquiries, present options, and convert them into confirmed bookings with a focus on upselling room categories and experiences.

You will maintain reservations in Hotsoft, manage rates across channels with D-Edge, and collaborate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue to ensure a seamless guest journey. A passion for five-star service is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's experience in a reservations role, preferably in a five-star luxury hotel.
• Excellent spoken and written English with professional telephone and email communication.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Warm, professional, guest-focused approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Good commercial awareness to maximise reservations and revenue.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems and CRM software.
• Knowledge of Hotsoft desirable; D-Edge experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for guests, providing informed assistance with options, rates, packages and itineraries.
• Manage telephone, email and online enquiries in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Convert enquiries into reservations while upselling room categories, packages and experiences.
• Create, amend and maintain reservations in Hotsoft with guest preferences and requests.
• Manage rates and availability across channels using D-Edge Channel Manager.
• Develop knowledge of hotel offerings to assist guests throughout the booking process.
• Build strong relationships with guests and deliver personalised service.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue and other departments for a seamless journey.
