Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge Limited is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor for our luxury five-star hotel in Ireland. You will lead the F&B team across breakfast, lounge, private dining, room service and events, delivering attentive, professional and personalised service.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a five-star hotel, strong knowledge of food, wine and beverages, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in Food & Beverage within a five-star hotel or luxury environment.
• Experience in breakfast and lounge service.
• Excellent knowledge of food, wine and beverages.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team.
• Demonstrates presentation and professional service standards.
• Strong communication and guest relations skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the Food & Beverage team throughout service.
• Ensuring a warm, professional and seamless guest experience across all areas.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, service, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Conducting team briefings and ensuring colleagues are fully prepared for each service and events.
• Supporting training, induction and ongoing development of team members.
• Ensuring appropriate staffing levels in line with business requirements.
• Maintaining stock levels, par stocks, weekly stocktakes and delivery checks.
• Ensuring crockery, glassware and equipment are maintained to required standards.
• Identifying and addressing maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
• Supporting Food & Beverage sales, wage and departmental targets.
• Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.
• Taking responsibility for the operation in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required.
