Job summary

Osprey Hotel in Naas, a PREM Group property, seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations with a focus on guest experience and staff development. You will work with the management team to drive performance, profitability and exceptional service across all departments.

The role requires strong leadership, hospitality expertise and a passion for mentoring. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected as part of hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within the hotel or hospitality industry, ideally within a 4- or 5-star property.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to read reports and drive results.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation in a hospitality setting.
• Customer-focused mindset with proven guest-experience delivery.
• Proactive and hands-on leadership with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills with team development.
• Organisational and planning skills to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of hotel operations including Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping and Events.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and Hotel Manager in day-to-day operations to ensure profitability and guest focus.
• Oversee daily operation across all departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor departmental revenues and expenditures against budgets and targets.
• Drive sales, manage costs and maximise profitability in line with financial plans.
• Lead coaching, training and performance management of the management team.
• Ensure staff training and development opportunities are provided to support success.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service across the hotel.
• Foster teamwork and positive relationships with guests, suppliers and the local community.
