Shopify Inc. is seeking an Account Executive for the SMB New Business team focused on the Italian market. You will drive growth by partnering with founders and fast-growing brands, leading a full-cycle sales process from prospecting to close.

You’ll leverage AI tools for high-volume outreach and tailor Shopify solutions to each business goal. The role requires fluency in Italian and English, a proven track record in new business acquisition, and comfort with technical product details.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level Italian and professional English required.
• Proven success in a full-cycle closing role with new business acquisition.
• Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline management skills.
• Comfortable with technical product detail and becoming a Shopify product expert.
• Proactive forecasting and planning your own book.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture new opportunities across multiple prospecting channels.
• Leverage AI tools to run high-volume, high-quality outreach.
• Understand each prospect's goals and tailor Shopify solutions to their needs.
• Generate high-quality leads through network and industry knowledge.
• Close deals and run a high-velocity sales cycle to hit targets.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline with founders and business owners.
• Collaborate on internal projects to improve GTM processes.
• Travel to meet clients and attend events.
