• At least one year's IT training experience in professional services.

Our client, is one of Ireland’s leading commercial law firms, renowned for delivering exceptional legal services to a prestigious portfolio of domestic and international clients. They are seeking an IT Trainer to join their established Digital Services Group on a maternity leave contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT Trainer to take responsibility for delivering technology training, supporting user adoption and helping colleagues maximise the benefits of the firm's core applications. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging training programmes, facilitate workshops and provide tailored departmental training, translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance. The role would suit someone with strong Microsoft application knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in technology and innovation.

Total Package: up to €42k

The Role

• Deliver regular IT induction and onboarding training for new employees, ensuring they are confident using the firm's core systems and applications.
• Develop, organise and facilitate monthly technology workshops to support ongoing learning and user adoption.
• Provide tailored training sessions to individual departments, addressing specific technology requirements and working practices.
• Deliver application training across the firm's core IT platforms, explaining complex systems and processes in an accessible, user-friendly manner.
• Support technology initiatives and user adoption programmes across the Digital Services Group.
• Create and maintain training materials and resources, ensuring content remains relevant, accurate and easy to follow.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Digital Services and other departments to identify training needs and improve the user experience.
• Manage training schedules, administration and competing priorities to ensure the effective delivery of learning programmes.

The Person:

• At least one year's experience in an IT training role, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with experience creating and managing content on SharePoint.
• Familiarity with document management systems and business-critical applications.
• A recognised training qualification would be advantageous, such as Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to users with varying levels of IT knowledge.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in technology, innovation and problem-solving, with an enthusiasm for improving user adoption.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
