MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy seeks an IT Support Specialist in Dublin. The role is hybrid (3 days in person) with travel to client sites, handling remote and on-site support for MS 365, Azure, networking and security.

You will manage service requests, support cloud and infrastructure projects, and become the main technical contact for clients. Experience with SonicWall, Defender suites and Intune is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years’ MSP experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 devices.
• Networking experience with SonicWall firewalls.
• Experience with Defender for Endpoint & Defender for Office 365.
• Full clean Category B driving licence & access to a car.
• Stamp 4/EU Citizenship required, sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

I'm working with a growing Managed Service Provider in Dublin that is expanding its client base and looking to appoint an IT Support Specialist.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, resolving technical issues and supporting a varied mix of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and security environments.

The company is continuing to grow its service offering, so they're looking for an experienced MSP professional who can get involved quickly, take ownership of client requests and contribute to infrastructure and cloud projects.

Hybrid - Dublin, with travel to client sites as required.

Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider delivering IT, cyber security and infrastructure services to businesses across a range of industries. The team supports small and medium-sized organisations with cloud solutions, networking, security, data migrations and technical consultancy.

They are looking for an IT Support Specialist to support their expanding client base and help deliver a high standard of technical service.

The Role

You’ll provide remote and on-site support to clients, help manage service request and project queues, and act as a key technical contact for customer issues. The role also involves maintaining client infrastructure and contributing to cloud, networking and security projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site IT support to clients.

• Build and configure Azure virtual servers, site-to-site VPNs and Azure SQL databases.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and SharePoint deployments.
• Roll out and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365.
• Manage warranty renewals for critical client equipment.

Essential Experience and Skills

• At least three years' experience working for a Managed Service Provider.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server.
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 users and devices.
• Practical experience with networking and SonicWall firewalls.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting, ticket follow-up and prioritising work.
• A full clean Category B driving licence and access to a car.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
