Job summary

Ergo is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer for a permanent role in Dublin. The successful candidate will join an established MSP providing helpdesk based technical support to clients.

This is an L2 hybrid role based in Sandyford offering great training and package. You will provide remote support, handle on-site visits, and work on networking, security, and systems administration within the Microsoft 365 stack.

Qualifications

• Experience in a helpdesk or MSP IT support role.
• Proficient in Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Experience with backups and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to clients.
• Site visits for in-person IT support, including networking, security, and hardware installation.
• Build PCs and laptops; perform health checks on IT systems.
• Administer systems using Office 365 and Azure; monitor network infrastructure.
• Manage IT security, firewalls, backups and disaster recovery.
• Utilise Intune for MDM and MFA implementations.

Exceptional communication skills and experience of network support, hardware installation and IT Systems Administration on the Microsoft365 stack are required.

This is an L2 hybrid role based in Sandyford offering great training and package.

What will you do?

• Provide remote technical support to clients
• Drive to customer sites to provide in-person IT Support which will include networking, IT Security, systems administration and hardware installation
• Build PC's and Laptops
• Conduct "health checks" on existing IT systems
• Systems administration using Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure
• Implement and monitor Network infrastructure
• Manage IT security / Firewalls
• Manage Backup systems and Disaster Recovery
• Mobile Device Management and MFA using Intune

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a similar role - Helpdesk, IT Support Analyst, Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, IT Systems Administrator
• Experience in Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams),
• Backups / DR
• Windows Server administration using Active Directory and desktop virtualization
• Network infrastructure Support (LAN/WAN, Firewalls)
• Professional certifications a real advantage (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA)
