Job summary

Auxilia Group Recruitment is currently recruiting for an IT Support Analyst on behalf of our client, an established company within the financial industry. This permanent role is based in Co. Meath.

Key duties include first point of contact for IT issues, day-to-day IT operations, onboarding/offboarding, access management, and ensuring data security and backups, with reporting and support for audits and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in IT service delivery is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• IT-related certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for IT issues.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations and support.
• Onboard/offboard users and manage access and devices.
• Ensure data security, network access, and backups.
• Assist IT Manager with root-cause analysis and preventative actions.
• Prepare reports for the IT Manager.

Role:

• Act as the first point of contact on all IT related issues.
• Day to day management of information technology and computers ystems.
• Onboarding/Offboarding of new users and devices on the network and management of access and asset control.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Work with the IT Manager to perform route cause analysis on issues and implement preventative measures as required.
• Prepare reports as requested by the IT Manager.
• Support internal and external Audits, Compliance, and Risk reviews.
• Maintenance of policy and procedure documentation and risk reporting as it relates to the IT function.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in IT service delivery is essential in this role.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education,
• training, and/or experience.
• Any IT related certifications
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
• Commercial awareness of contemporary IT systems applicable in a financial services environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• A basic understanding of SQL / Oracle databases and programming languages would be advantageous.
• Ability to work on own initiative and embrace new skills and practices.
