Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, Computing, or a related discipline.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Perl.
• Experience with Python or other modern scripting languages is beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of Active Directory and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with IT ticketing and onboarding processes is useful.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to staff across multiple offices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Respond to incidents and service requests via the IT ticketing system.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support user account management, password resets, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with documentation, asset registers, and procedures.
• Collaborate with third-party IT vendors and service providers as needed.
• Assist with administration of Windows servers, cloud services, and endpoint management platforms.
• Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and network infrastructure upkeep.
• Participate in IT projects involving upgrades, cloud technologies, security enhancements, and business applications.

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable IT Support Analyst to join an internal IT team for a Galway based client.

The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team to support business users, configure and deploy new IT equipment, develop automation solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes. This is an ideal role for a graduate with 1 year or more commercial Leve 1 support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to staff across multiple office and site locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 related issues.
• Respond to incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support user account management, password resets, permissions, and on boarding activities.
• Assist with maintaining documentation, asset registers, and technical procedures.

This role is 5 days on site with some travel to satellite offices / sites required form time to time.
