We are partnering with a well-established and successful Irish retail business to appoint an IT Manager who will take ownership of technology operations across its head office, retail estate, warehouse and eCommerce environment.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to both the technology and the business.
You will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day IT environment is secure, reliable and fit for purpose, while also working with senior leadership to shape the longer-term technology roadmap.
As IT Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall IT environment across a multi-site operation.
Your remit will include:
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager / IT Operations Manager / Infrastructure Manager who has previously taken broad ownership of an internal IT environment.
You will ideally bring:
Experience within retail, FMCG, distribution, warehousing, hospitality or another multi-site operational environment would be particularly valuable.
Exposure to ERP, POS, eCommerce or warehouse management systems would also be advantageous.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of IT within a successful Irish business where technology has a direct impact on day-to-day commercial operations.
You will have visibility across the organisation, access to senior decision-makers and the autonomy to identify where technology can improve how the business operates.
It would particularly suit someone who enjoys the variety of an SME/mid-sized environment - capable of discussing technology strategy with leadership in the morning and getting involved in an operational issue that afternoon.
