Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, optimisation and ongoing support of core business applications (CRM, scheduling, production, financial systems).

IT Systems Manager - Co. Roscommon | Hybrid | Permanent

What you need to know

Our client, a company in the manufacturing industry, is looking to hire an IT Systems Manager for their site in Co. Roscommon.

This is a hybrid, permanent role, responsible for developing the organisation's technology roadmap, leading digital transformation initiatives, and providing technology leadership across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own the organisation's technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and growth objectives.
• Lead the delivery of digital transformation initiatives and cross-functional technology programmes, including systems implementations and integrations.
• Provide technology leadership and establish effective technology governance, risk management, project oversight, and decision-making frameworks.
• Lead the implementation, optimisation and ongoing support of core business applications, including CRM, scheduling, production and financial systems, while driving automation and process improvements.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, technology partners, and disaster recovery programmes.

Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience in a senior IT, digital operations or systems management position.
• Strong track record of delivering complex business systems implementations and integrations, with proficient MS Excel and ERP systems experience.
• Broad technical knowledge across IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, SQL databases and data management.
• Proven experience managing MSPs, software providers and other third-party technology partners, with strong project and programme management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to operate strategically while remaining sufficiently hands-on. Must have own transport and a full Irish driving licence.
