Carey Building Contractors in Galway City is seeking an experienced IT Manager for a permanent, full-time role. You will oversee all technology systems, ensure data security and support both office and field staff.

Key responsibilities include administering MSite, supporting Procure, Aconex, Estimate One, Buildsoft, Office 365, Sage and Evolution, and coordinating with external IT consultants.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT support experience.
• A third-level qualification in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Solid working knowledge of IT systems, especially Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve all Technology systems in place and keep data secure.
• Support office and field workers with IT requirements.
• Administer Site Induction/Time and attendance software MSite.
• Provide user support for software like Procure, Aconex, Estimate One, Buildsoft, Office 365, Sage, Evolution.
• Be the daily point of contact for IT issues and establish new employee digital setups.

The Role

Carey Building Contractors are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team in Galway City. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Responsibilities

• You will manage and improve all Technology systems in place, keep data secure, and support office and field workers with their IT requirements.
• Manage and administer our Site Induction/Time and attendance software- MSite
• Support users with technical issues related to software in place, ie. Procure, Aconex, Estimate One, Buildsoft, Microsoft Office 365, Sage, Evolution.
• Point of contact for all daily IT issues.
• Establish new employee’s digital setup.
• Collaborating with external IT consultants.

Requirements

• Relevant third level qualification in a Computer Science discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• A working knowledge of IT systems is essential, particularly Microsoft Office 365.
• A hands on technical approach to problem solving and an ability to collaborate across company teams to modernise IT systems as required.
• 3+ years’ experience in an IT support role.
• Full-time office based position.
