Job summary

Quest Recruitment is seeking an experienced Investor Relations professional to join as Assistant Vice President. The role focuses on managing key client relationships, supervising the IR team, and ensuring accurate NAV and reporting processes in a global funds environment.

The successful candidate will lead operational delivery, drive improvements, coach staff, and collaborate with AML, Treasury, Fund Accounting, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in Investor Relations or related fields.
• Experience in fund administration, hedge funds, or alternative investment environments.
• At least 3 years in a senior, supervisory or team management role.
• Strong knowledge of investor servicing, capital activity and fund administration processes.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with proactive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact for IR matters.
• Oversee the team's daily workflow, ensuring deadlines, controls and service standards are met.
• Ensure capital transactions and NAV-related processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee investor and client reporting, ensuring information is accurate and distributed on time.
• Ensure operational procedures and best-practice guidelines are followed.
• Work with AML, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance and Internal Audit.
• Represent IR at client meetings, on-site visits and auditor engagements.
• Lead regular team meetings and communicate updates and key initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the IR function.
• Provide coaching, guidance and support to team members.
• Support system enhancements and process changes.
• Assist with recruitment and interviewing of new team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to team development.
• Represent IR at management meetings and contribute to wider initiatives.

This is a senior role within the Investor Relations function, responsible for managing key client relationships, overseeing operational delivery and providing leadership to a team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high service standards while driving continuous improvements across the function.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact and escalation point for Investor Relations matters.
• Oversee the team's daily workflow, ensuring deadlines, controls and service standards are consistently met.
• Ensure capital transactions and NAV-related processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee investor and client reporting, ensuring information is accurate and distributed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure operational procedures and best-practice guidelines are consistently followed.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including AML, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance and Internal Audit.
• Represent Investor Relations at client meetings, on-site visits and auditor engagements.
• Lead regular team meetings and communicate operational updates and key initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the Investor Relations function.
• Provide coaching, guidance and support to team members, helping to develop the team's technical and operational capabilities.

About You

• 6+ years' experience within Investor Relations, Investor Services, Transfer Agency or a similar function.
• Strong experience within a fund administrator, hedge fund or alternative investment environment.
• At least 3 years' experience in a senior, supervisory or team management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of investor servicing, capital activity and fund administration processes.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing operational improvements.
