Job summary

Citco Group Limited in Dublin seeks a Vice President for Investor Relations to lead client relationships, manage IR teams, and partner with internal stakeholders across North America and Europe to deliver high-quality reporting.

You will coach teams, review KRIs, drive process improvements, participate in marketing efforts, and ensure timely delivery of client services while aligning with Citco's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or comparable Investor relations and finance experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience in the Hedge Fund industry, preferably in Investor Relations and/ or Client Service with some exposure to accounting and performance reporting.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience successfully managing a large group.
• Proven track record of being dedicated to servicing a group of high profile Alternative Investment Funds.
• Proven client relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead to one or more Investor Relations Teams, responsible for overall client relationship management in IR and leadership of IR teams.
• Coach, develop and provide direction of IR teams, creating an environment that motivates and supports the team.
• Review Key Performance and Risk indicators for the teams and ensure timely and accurate deliverables for internal and external clients.
• Support projects, coordinate plans and ensure completion.
• Identify procedures, processes, controls and client servicing improvements and review internal controls.
• Conduct performance appraisals and succession planning for team members.
• Communicate Citco’s goals to teams and review department goals within IR.
• Participate in policy and procedure changes and IR initiatives to maintain Citco’s marketplace position.
• Establish internal networks to provide client solutions and drive strategic initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of Citco systems and relevant regulations for IR.
• Encourage proactive issue identification and timely incident resolution.

About the Team & Business Line:

This role will primarily support clients and internal stakeholders in North America. To ensure effective collaboration and service delivery, the successful candidate will be required to work U.S. business hours, including alignment with Eastern Time Zone schedules as needed. The position involves regular interaction with North American clients and colleagues, participation in meetings outside standard local business hours, and providing timely support and responsiveness during the North American working day.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Leading to one or more Investor Relations Teams, the Vice President (‘VP’) is responsible for the overall client relationship management in IR and demonstrates an ability to take on a multi-faceted role, leading and managing an Investor Relations teams in the areas of client relationship management, team management and client reporting.
• Coach, develop and provide direction of IR teams while creating an environment that motivates, rewards, and supports the team.
• Regular review of all Key Performance and Risk indicators (“KRI”) for the teams, encourages/implements testing of controls within the team. Ensuring that all daily, weekly and monthly operational and reporting deliverables for both internal and external clients are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support the team to ensure projects are planned, coordinated and seen through to completion.
• Identify, recommend and implement areas in the team where procedures, processes, controls and client servicing arrangements may be improved and review internal controls and procedures on a regular basis.
• Conduct performance appraisals for team members.
• Run Succession Planning and Resource Management that includes participating in interviews and the selection process of new team members.
• Communicate Citco’s organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals within IR.
• Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the other VPs in IR.
• Seek out and participate in policy, procedure changes and developments. Participate in IR initiatives to maintain Citco’s pre-eminent position in the marketplace.
• Establish a network of internal contacts across departments, locally and globally, and leverages this network to provide solutions for clients and to drive forward CFS strategic initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and to remain apprised of regulations that affect IR.
• Encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and the root cause of incidents and opportunities for improvement. Ensure all incidents are addressed and reported timely, and to the mutual satisfaction of CFS and client; Debrief team on incident resolution and raise awareness across peer group.
• Participate in marketing and sales pitches to explain Citco’s service offering and join senior management on client visits.
• Assist auditors and other fund participants.
