About the Role
Investor Relations Associate is responsible for delivering high-quality investors and client servicing across a range of fund structures. The role combines day-to-day investor servicing, transaction oversight, operational control and continuous improvement responsibilities, while supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to a strong client-focused culture.
Working closely with Client Solutions, Fund Accounting, Compliance, Legal and Operations teams, the Investor relations associate will ensure investor activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and internal control requirements. This position offers broad exposure across the investor lifecycle and the opportunity to contribute to process enhancements that improve service quality, controls, and operational efficiency.
Client and Investor Services
- Deliver day-to-day investor servicing activities, ensuring requests are managed accurately and within agreed service standards.
- Respond to investor, intermediary, and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Build effective relationships with investors and internal stakeholders to support positive client outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure investor requests are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Review investor communications and outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to established procedures.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication regarding service issues, risks, and outstanding actions.
- Support the delivery of a consistently high-quality investor experience across all touchpoints.
Investor Transactions and Fund Activity
- Review investor capital activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and related transaction processing.
- Ensure investor transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with service level commitments.
- Support the preparation and distribution of investor transaction documentation and confirmation.
- Partner with Investor Relations Operations and Fund Accounting teams to ensure timely completion of investor activity and reporting requirements.
- Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions, escalating material issues where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of fund structures, investor servicing processes, and industry terminology.
Risk, Control and Compliance
- Ensure all activities are performed in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
- Maintain compliance with AML, KYC, FATCA and other investor onboarding and monitoring obligations.
- Identify operational risks, control weaknesses and recurring issues, escalating where necessary.
- Support audit requests and maintain accurate documentation of investor activity and supporting records.
- Contribute to a strong control environment through effective review, validation, and exception management.
- Promote accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail across all aspects of investor servicing.
Process Improvement and Change
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Support the implementation of new systems, workflow enhancements, and process changes.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort, strengthening controls, and improving scalability.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures and operational documentation.
- Support the successful adoption of new ways of working across the team.
- Share ideas and practical solutions that enhance the overall investor servicing model.
Team Contribution and Development
- Act as a senior point of reference for colleagues within the Investor Relations team.
- Support the onboarding, training, and development of junior team members.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices to strengthen team capability.

Skills and Experience
- Experience within Investor Relations, Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, Client Services or a related financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, investor transactions, and investor servicing requirements.
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, FATCA, and regulatory requirements relevant to investor operations.
- Experience reviewing operational activity with a strong focus on quality and control.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
