Engage People Recruitment is hiring an IT Support Officer for an onsite, full-time role in Dublin City Centre. You will provide day-to-day IT support, manage Microsoft 365/Azure, and assist with cybersecurity and ICT resilience initiatives. Ideal candidates have ~3 years' experience in IT support and strong infrastructure knowledge.

Join a regulated environment and work with external IT providers to ensure smooth IT operations and security compliance.

Competenze

• 3 years' experience in IT Support or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Exposure to Azure, networking, endpoint management, and IAM.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, patch/vulnerability management and data protection.
• Experience with external IT service providers or MSPs is a plus.

Set Up: this role is onsite full time 5 days a week

My client is seeking an IT Support Officer with approximately 3 years' experience to support and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, systems and security environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining technology systems, coordinating with external IT service providers and supporting the organisation's cybersecurity and operational resilience requirements. This is a varied role offering exposure to infrastructure management, Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity, IT risk and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills and an interest in developing their experience within a regulated environment.

THIS IS A BRAND NEW PERMANENT ROLE BASED IN DUBLIN CITY CENTRE

THIS ROLE IS ONSITE FULL TIME 5 DAYS A WEEK

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Support the administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365, Azure, networks, endpoints, applications and telephony systems.
• Assist with the management and maintenance of IT hardware, software, licences and the IT asset register.
• Support user account administration, including joiner, mover and leaver processes, access permissions and multi-factor authentication.
• Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations and technology improvements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures and technical controls.
• Assist with DORA readiness and ongoing ICT operational resilience initiatives.
• Liaise with outsourced IT service providers and technology vendors to coordinate support, resolve technical issues and monitor service delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Ideally 3 years' experience in an IT Support, IT Administrator, IT Operations or similar technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and general IT infrastructure.
• Exposure to Azure, networking, endpoint management and identity and access management.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, patch management, vulnerability management and data protection.
• Experience working with external IT service providers or managed service providers would be advantageous.
