Job summary

I.T. Alliance Resourcing Services is seeking a strong and experienced Level 2 Deskside Engineer to join a large IT support team in Ireland.

The role is hands-on, requires taking ownership of Level 2 incidents and providing effective technical support with minimal ramp-up time. The successful candidate will deliver face-to-face and remote support for a Microsoft-focused environment, troubleshoot issues independently, and communicate clearly with users and stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Strong Level 2 deskside support experience in Microsoft Windows and 365.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 incidents.
• Excellent communication with users and stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 deskside and technical support to end users.
• Own incidents escalated from Level 1 through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Use Active Directory for user and account administration.
• Log and manage incidents in the ITSM ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to infrastructure teams as needed.
• Assist with hardware refreshes and IT projects.
