Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment's client, a leading professional services organisation, seeks an experienced HR Generalist to join their HR team on an 18-month fixed-term contract in Wexford. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, partnering with managers on a broad range of HR matters and providing practical, commercial HR support in a hands-on capacity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Sound knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence managers at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience supporting HR projects or change initiatives would be advantageous.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
• CIPD qualification, or working towards one, would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance management and absence management.
• Coach and support managers on employee relations best practice and policy application.
• Ensure HR policies comply with employment legislation and organisational standards.
• Support HR initiatives and projects across engagement, change and process improvement.
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation and maintenance of employee records.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.
• Support change initiatives and organisational projects as required.
• Contribute to ongoing review and enhancement of HR policies and ways of working.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver an excellent employee experience.
