Harmonics Recruitment is seeking an HR Generalist responsible for employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll support and HR administration. The role requires 3+ years HR experience with strong knowledge of Irish employment law.

This is a 12-month contract with broad responsibilities across HR operations and policy development. The successful candidate will manage onboarding, payroll coordination with Finance, and ensure compliance with HR standards while supporting the

  • Degree in a business-related subject, preferably HR.
  • Minimum 3 years' HR experience.
  • CIPD qualification preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Employee Relations and respond to staff queries.
  • Oversee Recruitment and Selection processes.
  • Administer Employee Benefits (pension, medical insurance) and payroll support.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports for departments.
  • Assist onboarding processes including ZUP process and new staff setup.
  • Develop and implement company policies and handbook.
  • Manage personnel files and training records.
  • Coordinate onboarding and relocation for international staff (visas, etc.).
  • Provide advice to management and support appraisals.

Job description

Harmonics Recruitment are currently seeking a HR Generalist covering employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll support and HR administration. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years' HR experience and good knowledge of Irish employment law.

12 month Contract

Job Functions
  • Employee Relations – dealing with employee requests and queries on a daily basis.
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Responsibility for Employee Benefits Administration, such as; Pension, Medical Insurance, provision and ordering of safety wear.
  • Preparing monthly HR Reports for various departments.
  • Support in developing on boarding processes incl. ZUP Process
  • Introduce and integrate new staff members. Set up new employees on various systems prior to start date and prepare for arrival on-site.
  • Implementing and updating Company Policies and Company Handbook
  • Management of Personnel Files and training records
  • Management of on boarding and relocation of international employee's incl. visa etc.
  • Provide advice and support to management team where applicable
  • Record and administrate working time incl. absence management
  • Support in providing employee appraisals
  • Payroll Preparation in conjunction with Finance dept.
  • Develop and manage public relation. Plan and manage events
  • Maintenance of Intranet website.
  • HR representative on the communications team
  • Ad hoc human resources duties and projects.
Person Specification
  • The candidate should essentially fulfill the following requirements:
  • Degree in a business related subject, preferably human resources related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Human resource function
  • Ideally CIPD qualified o Excellent PC Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Previous experience of maintaining a time and attendance system is a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledgeable on current Irish employment legislation.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Problem solving skills – ability to think outside the box to achieve the best solution
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly and approachable and recognises the importance of confidentiality.
  • Flexible attitude with an ability to multitask.
