Job summary

Cpl Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Dublin West on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on HR guidance, staff relations, and stakeholder engagement, with hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).

You will analyze HR metrics, support recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, and contribute to organisational change initiatives while delivering internal training as required.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in HR or Business/Commerce.
• 5+ years HR experience.
• Public Sector experience desirable.
• Industrial Relations experience is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to assigned business areas.
• Advise on employment law, policy & procedure knowledge.
• Prepare and analyse HR performance data and share findings.
• Assist in development and implementation of organisational change initiatives.
• Contribute to workforce planning as needed.
• Advise on recruitment and retention strategies.
• Support management with employee relations issues and IR matters.
• Manage recruitment processes from drafting role specs to candidate selection.
• Oversee on-boarding and induction for new employees.
• Support payroll inputs for the organisation.
• Assist probation management for all employees.

Our public sector services client, based in Dublin West, have an exciting requirement for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team, for 12-month contract.The successful candidate will join provides HR guidance, support resolution of employee relations issues, analyse HR metrics and improve stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working on offer with 3 days onsite and 2-day WFH.

RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED

• Provide HR advice and support to assigned business areas
• Use employment law and policy & procedure knowledge to advise the best solution possible
• Preparation and analysis of HR performance management data to share any requested intel/findings
• Assisting in the development and implementation of organisational change initiatives.
• Contribute effectively to the workforce planning as needed
• Advising on recruitment and retention strategies
• Support management to deal with employee relations issues, providing sound advice on any IR issues that may arise.
• Manage recruitment processes through all stages, from drafting role specs to candidate selection
• On-boarding and induction processes for all incoming employees
• Support on payroll inputs for the organisation
• Support the probation management process for all employees
• Design and deliver internal training courses as required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources or Business/Commerce
• 5+ years relevant HR experience
• Public Sector experience would be desirable but not essential.
• Industrial Relations experience (Highly Desirable)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
