Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong numerical skills and good working knowledge of the Sage 50 system.
• Professional qualification desirable but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of payment formatting and processing.
• Excellent time and priority management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive in outlook, thrives in a dynamic environment and able to respond quickly to change and emerging trends.

Aufgaben

• Owning Accounts Payable duties: invoice processing and verification.
• Processing grant and non-grant payments within terms.
• Maintaining vendor records and resolving payment inquiries.
• Managing employee expenses and reimbursements.
• Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving docs.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Keeping records for audit and reference purposes.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Invoicing grant recipients due to return funding.
• Billing and collections to ensure timely payments.
• Applying grant payments to accounts and reconciling differences.
• Collaborating with Business Networks to improve cash flow.
• Performing monthly bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations.
• Assisting with internal/external audit requests annually.
• Assisting in internal investigations as needed.
• Taking ownership of Travel Management portal and staff mobile devices.
