Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Dublin West is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to take ownership of AP activities for a dedicated business entity within a large finance team.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Leader, you will process high‑volume invoices, manage supplier queries, and contribute to automation projects while enjoying hybrid work, a supportive culture, and on‑site parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-5 years accounts payable experience.
• Strong experience in a fast-paced AP role.
• Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong organisational & administrative skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & time management.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet strict timelines.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills; Oracle experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume and high value invoices, 3-way matching and non-PO invoicing.
• Process payment requests.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier statement reconciliations.
• Process prepayments.
• Manage shared supplier query inbox and respond to queries.
• Produce monthly Accounts Payable reports.
• Liaise with auditors (external/internal, SOX).
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Support on multiple AI/automation projects.

Job description

We have an exciting and hands on role for a strong Accounts Payable Assistant with a leading multinational fortune 500 company with offices based in Dublin West.

You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Leader and join a collaborative, large-scale finance team. In this position, you will take full ownership of the accounts payable activities for your dedicated business entity.

• Salary is DOE €40,000 - €45,000
• Up to 12% bonus, 8% pension scheme
• Hybrid working, 2 days in office after initial training period
• Flexibility hours, e.g. 8- 4 or 9-5

Key responsibilities:

• Process high volume and high value invoices, 3 way matching and as well as non PO invoicing
• Processing payments requests
• Investigating and resolve invoices discrepancies
