The Royal Marine Hotel in Ireland is seeking an experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join the management team. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will oversee day-to-day hotel operations, support Heads of Department and ensure high service standards across all areas.

The ideal candidate will be confident, hands-on, highly organised and capable of making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, excellent communication, and upselling skills are essential for delivering

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Front Office and Food & Beverage operations.
• Experience with Hotsoft or similar hospitality systems.
• Knowledge of cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, early mornings and weekends.
• Hospitality or management qualification (desirable). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.

Job description

The Royal Marine Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Duty Manager to join our management team.

Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, the Duty Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel, supporting Heads of Department and ensuring the highest standards of service across all areas.

We are looking for a confident, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal skills, drive and ambition. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of making decisions and thinking on their feet in a fast-paced environment.

A solid understanding of hotel operations is essential, especially in food and beverage, along with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities
