Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Front Office Manager to oversee daily front desk operations and ensure Hilton standards are consistently met. You will lead the front office team, manage check-in/check-out, and collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The successful candidate will have prior front office supervision experience in a hotel, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive guest

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Front Office operations.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the front office team.

  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints.
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy, arrivals and departures.
  • Ensure brand standards and company policies are followed.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule staff.
  • Prepare staff rotas and manage payroll within budget.
  • Monitor KPIs and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and Sales.
  • Support revenue opportunities through upselling and inventory management.

Hampton by Hilton is a newly built 253 bedroom hotel and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive Duty Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the front desk, ensure Hilton brand standards are consistently met, and work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the front office team to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Ensure efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy, and daily arrivals/departures.
  • Maintain Hilton brand standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support ongoing training.
  • Prepare staff rotas and manage payroll within budget.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, productivity, and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Assist with revenue opportunities through room upselling and effective inventory management.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures and financial controls are followed.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar supervisory role within a hotel environment.
  • Experience working with Hilton systems is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Good computer skills and experience with property management systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
