Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience in a busy hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends on a 5 over 7 rota.
  • Positive, motivated, and passionate about hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring all departments are guest-ready and operating to the highest standards.
  • Lead and support teams during busy service periods while promoting a positive and professional working environment.
  • Welcome and assist guests, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
  • Complete Duty Manager reports, shift handovers, and operational checklists.
  • Monitor hotel presentation, security, maintenance, and compliance with Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
  • Support staff training, performance development, and operational standards across departments.
  • Handle guest feedback ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Lead daily operational briefings and communicate key guest information
  • Support teams during busy service periods and foster a positive, collaborative working environment throughout the hotel.
  • Support the hotel's sustainability and Green Hospitality initiatives, including reducing energy, water, and operational waste.
