Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ireland is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Hitachi’s innovative solutions. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage key client relationships, and present compelling proposals that win business.

In this role you will forecast sales, analyze performance data and coordinate with marketing, product development and technical support teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience in grid automation, technology, industrial or B2B.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and data interpretation.
• Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Ability to travel to meet clients and attend events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
• Identify new opportunities, market segmentation, lead generation and account planning.
• Manage client relationships and ensure delivery of Hitachi Energy products/services.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and contracts for clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development and technical support teams.
• Forecast sales, analyze data and report to senior management.
• Adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
