Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ireland is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Hitachi's innovative solutions. This role focuses on achieving ambitious sales targets and building strong client relationships across the grid automation sector.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and present compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience in grid automation, technology, industrial, or B2B sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, lead generation, and account planning.
• Manage key client relationships and ensure successful delivery of Hitachi's products/services.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies.

• Forecast sales, analyze data, and report to senior management.
