Job summary

OpenAI is hiring an International Marketing Lead, SMB Ads to build and scale our SMB Ads business outside the United States, spanning Dublin and London. You will own international advertiser targets and lead a cross-functional team across product marketing, growth, lifecycle, partnerships, and sales enablement.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring country plans align with global strategy, and that regional insights shape global plans for advertiser

Qualifications

• Significant experience owning international business or growth targets in SMB, self-serve, advertising, SaaS, marketplace, commerce, or fintech.
• Proven ability to hire and scale marketing teams across countries and collaborate with global, regional, and local teams.
• Ability to balance global strategy with local customer needs and prioritize investments across markets.

Responsibilities

• Own international advertiser and revenue targets; translate into country plans for acquisition, activation, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
• Launch locally relevant go-to-market programs with regional marketing, sales, and partnerships across positioning, demand generation, lifecycle, education, offers, and conversion.
• Lead international performance reviews, forecasting, and growth initiatives with Sales, Product, and Finance; use experiments and funnel insights to improve results.
• Hire, coach, and develop the international SMB Ads marketing team and establish a culture of experimentation and accountability.
