Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field required.
• Professional training in international trade or customs compliance preferred.
• 3–5 years in import/export operations within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day import/export operations to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate trade documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to UK, EU, and global customs laws, trade compliance requirements, and internal standards.
• Monitor and support customs clearance activities, including tariff classification, valuation, and duty management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with audits and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with supply chain, procurement, quality, and finance teams to support cross-border material flows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost control.
