Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a German Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team in Galway. You will handle Global and German inquiries via telephone, email and chat, supporting customers and partners based in German-speaking countries with a friendly, solution-focused approach.

This full-time, permanent role offers Mon–Thu 9:00–17:30 and Fri 9:00–16:00, on-site with a six‑month path to hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken and written English and German.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a Call Centre or Customer Service environment.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Applications will be considered from people that have not worked in a corporate office environment before. Full training will be given once applicants can demonstrate the ability to provide an excellent quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer and employee questions/concerns in an efficient and effective manner and resolving issues which customers might have regarding company's products which include but not limited to; order queries, price queries, complaints, queries, refunds etc.
• Maintaining knowledge of the company's facilities, websites, products, promotions, policies, and procedures.
• Representing the company in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
• Complete documentation to in-house standards and be compliant with all in-house procedures.
• Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader and working within a team of 50 Customer Service Representatives.
