Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing a busy reception area and welcoming visitors professionally.
- Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across multiple departments.
- Assisting with weekly payroll processing and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Supporting payroll administration and responding to employee queries.
- Preparing and processing documentation relating to shipping and logistics activities.
- Liaising with transport providers and coordinating paperwork requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage and verify information.
- Supporting the wider team with general office duties as required.
What the Ideal Candidate Needs
- Previous experience in administration, office support or reception.
- Exposure to payroll processing or payroll administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within a fast-paced office environment would be advantageous.
