Job summary

Smartling is seeking a French-speaking Business Development Representative for a remote, work-from-home role based in Ireland. You will qualify active buying interest and bridge marketing and sales to drive new customer acquisition.

You will source and engage with high-potential prospects, develop outreach strategies via email, Zoom, and social channels, and become a Smartling ambassador with a deep knowledge of our AI-native translation platform.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and comfortable with business outreach.
• Interest in a sales career and track record of high performance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage high-potential prospects and companies.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, Zoom, and social channels.
• Clearly articulate Smartling's value proposition to prospects.
• Field questions and objections, becoming a consultative partner.
• Hand off qualified prospects to Account Executives for closure.
• Diligently record and manage prospect data in Salesforce.com.
• Become a Smartling expert on product, positioning, and industry trends.
• Represent Smartling at industry events and conferences.
