Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Customer Development & In-Field Technology Specialist to join its EMEA technology team in Dublin. This role bridges commercial requirements with global technology, designing, optimizing and supporting field-sales systems through Salesforce, Data Cloud and AI-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience as an IT Business Analyst, Technology Specialist or similar supporting Sales/Go-to-Market functions.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring and administering Salesforce platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or similar retail-execution platforms.
• Understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, data modelling, customer segmentation and analytics.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating commercial needs into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of API integrations, middleware, and data movement between field apps and central systems.
• Experience integrating Salesforce or sales apps with ERP and order-management platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Systems or related discipline.
• Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud experience.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Application Architect or Consumer Goods Cloud accreditation.
• Experience in FMCG/CPG/retail sectors.
• Strong understanding of field-sales processes, retail execution, route planning and trade promotions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Commercial and Customer Development to translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Support design and ongoing development of field-sales technology architecture.
• Configure and administer Salesforce platforms (profiles, security, workflows, objects).
• Support Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and other SFA solutions used by in-field teams.
• Optimize Salesforce Data Cloud with data modelling, customer profiles and segmentation.
• Help develop AI-driven analytics and next-best-action capabilities using sales and customer data.
• Ensure data integration between field apps, category-management platforms, order-management systems and ERP.
• Lead regional functional approach to retail execution and in-field sales tech.
• Collaborate with global teams to align regional solutions with standards.
• Assess emerging retail technologies and promote best practices across EMEA.
