Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the Breakfast, Lounge, Private Dining and Room Service operations.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will be on the floor, guiding the team and ensuring guest expectations are exceeded with warm, personalised service. This hands-on leadership role requires attention to detail, consistency and calm under pressure, plus the ability to train, motivate and develop staff while maintaining five-star

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a five-star hotel, luxury resort, country house or comparable high-end environment.
• Experience in breakfast and lounge service.
• Natural hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor with guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the F&B team during breakfast, lounge, private dining, function and room service.
• Ensure five-star service standards across all service periods.
• Create memorable guest experiences through warm, professional hospitality.
• Maintain a strong on-floor presence and anticipate guest needs.
• Brief and motivate the team before service and manage staffing levels.
• Support Restaurant Director and Breakfast & AM Lounge Manager.
• Assist with stock management, billing and wage-cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and HACCP policies.
