EXL is seeking a Finance Manager in Dublin to oversee Controllership for the EMEA region, focusing on Romania and Bulgaria. The role requires fluent Romanian and English, and strong accounting expertise within a multinational context.

The ideal candidate will manage monthly closes, statutory reporting, audits, and cross-functional coordination with external advisors and the global finance organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 3+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Romanian accounting regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyse financial results and investigate significant variances.
• Support consolidation and group reporting requirements.
