Job summary

HID Global in Galway, Ireland is seeking an EMEA Finance Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will oversee accounting services for a portfolio of EMEA entities, lead month-end close under IFRS, ensure robust controls, and partner with regional business units.

You will build a high-performing Shared Services team, drive process improvements, manage statutory compliance and audits, and collaborate with tax advisors while embracing a global, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience in a multinational organization, preferably SSC
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP exposure
• Experience leading a finance/SSC team and driving improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead Record to Report for defined portfolio of companies
• Manage month end close under IFRS with corporate deadlines
• Govern Balance Sheet reconciliations across entities
• Ensure statutory compliance, taxation and reporting
• Audit readiness and coordination of audits
• Coordinate indirect tax/VAT filings across jurisdictions
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse accounting team
• Drive process improvements and automation
• Collaborate with finance and non-finance functions
