Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Galway, Ireland, seeks an operationally focused EMEA Finance Manager on a fixed-term 12‑month contract. You will manage accounting services for a portfolio of EMEA subsidiaries, ensuring timely reporting, strong controls, and high-quality service for the region.

The role requires IFRS and local GAAP experience, 5+ years in multinational accounting, and leadership to build the Shared Services team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience in a multinational organization, preferably Shared Service
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP exposure
• Experience of ERP systems, preferably Oracle
• Experience of Global Consolidation Tools, preferably Onestream
• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred)
• Recognised professional accounting qualification

Responsibilities

• Manage month end close process under IFRS in adherence with corporate deadlines
• Governance of Balance Sheet reconciliation processes for multiple entities
• Statutory compliance, taxation and reporting across jurisdictions
• Audit readiness and management of audit process
• Liaise with internal and external taxation advisors as required
• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse accounting team; drive continuous improvement
• Build relationships with all finance functions and other departments
