Job summary

HID Global in Galway is seeking an EMEA Finance Manager to lead accounting services for a portfolio of EMEA entities within the Shared Services Center. You will drive month-end close under IFRS, ensure robust controls and statutory reporting while partnering with business units across the region.

You’ll lead a diverse accounting team, push process improvements, and collaborate with tax and external advisors to ensure audit readiness and compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience in a multinational organization, preferably Shared Service
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP exposure
• Experience in SSC and continuous improvement methodologies
• People leadership or mentoring experience
• Excellent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Record to Report for a defined portfolio of companies under IFRS
• Manage month end close processes and adhere to corporate deadlines
• Governance of balance sheet reconciliation processes across entities
• Ensure statutory compliance, taxation and reporting in multiple jurisdictions
• Audit readiness and management of audit processes across regions
• Oversee indirect tax/VAT accounting and filings with country advisors
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse accounting team; drive technical accounting and automation
• Support global SSC projects and initiatives and drive process standardization
